SENJSKA DRAGA

Senjska Draga is a deep green valley enclosed by the mountains of Velika Kapela and Velebit. The Josephine Road passes along the valley. This was built in the 18^th century on the orders of the Emperor Joseph II and was the most important traffic route that connected the interior with the coast. The road ended in Karlovac

The villages of Sveti Križ and Majorija feature walled sources of crystal clear mountain water in which the entire Senjska Draga abounds thanks to the area’s favourable location.
