KRIVI PUT

KRIVI PUT

Located in the wooded hinterland of Senj, the village of Krivi Put is an old settlement founded at the beginning of the 17th century by members of the Bunjevci ethnic group in search of a place where they could graze their livestock. The area of Krivi Put with its pastures, karst fields, valleys, dolines, meadows and forests provided everything they needed.

Krivi Put encompasses a series of small hamlets that once formed a single municipality. In the hamlet of Podbilo, there is the Church of Our Lady of Snow, the patron saint of the area of Krivi Put, whose feast day is celebrated on 5 August.

The cycling trails that lead through this area represent a challenge and provide enjoyment for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
